Xmas Fallout & Stag Planning

Not much to tell from the christmas thus far to be honest.

All the usual, convivial imbibing etc. Board games / boring games...

A few days off, not enough. Have been back in work the past 2 days but you really couldn't call it that, as it's just me and Ronan and I've been treating him to the esoteric-ness of my MP3 collection. At a decent volume.

Something that won't happen next week when normality returns.

Yeah so, managed to get through the christmas without anybody dying, which is more than James Brown and Gerry Ford can say.

Last night, I was out with Leon (my best mate) who is getting married in July of 2007 and his younger brother, Niall (who is best man), discussing numbers / plans for that fateful right of passage for the groom in question.

The stag!

Crikey.

Where do we begin! The initial list has 27 names on it. That's pretty big.

Then the inevitable location discussion and the dignity reducing activities suggestions!

I'm up for Bratislava in Slovakia or perhaps Krakow in Poland (apparently no.2 on the European stag circuit now), I just am totally sold on Eastern Europe after Prague I guess. Robby Naik's tales of woe from Riga have put me off the idea of the Baltic states fair enough, I really don't want to get into that sorta shit where the bouncers drag you to the ATM, take your cash and then promptly beat you down.

Not on the agenda.

But, I fear the lads might like to stick closer to home in anycase and we might end up with a mid-point destination like Cardiff or Galway.

Still tho', Slovakian beer and women!

Gibbous Moon

Scary Go Round creator, John Allison, personalisation of my copy of "Heavy Metal Hearts & Flowers", I think it just was so cool it had to go up somewhere... I should find a link to go with it, for the full flavour of the evil intern, Moon.
