Well, JG, John Gormley has just been elected leader of ye olde Green Party in wonderful, wet, Eire.

But, this is a somewhat parallel experience, ok, there's a slight ascendant here for the Greens whereas the PDs were clearly on the downward spiral the last time the leadership baton changed hands, how and ever, the net result or rather the material result is startingly similar.

The leader, erstwhile Harney, erstwhile Sargent, steps down for a Ministerial position under Fianna Fail, to keep the party faithful happy somehow and then valiant McDowell / Gormley comes into the breach to fill the gap, to lead the ideologically vacuous to greater heights of pandering to the largesse of Fianna Fail.

Fuck's sake John, what the feck are you doing... This is only going to end very badly.

I know, some people, like to think that oh, it's better to try and all that crap but sometimes, it's more important to call a spade, spade. And to go into government with that corrupt shower of shites, well, I expected it from the Greens but I was kinda hoping there were more than just pure careerists in that party.

John, you're proving me wrong.

And I'm not happy.
